Please inquire for details.About The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated SPED Specialist / Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with special needs students in educational programs. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and treating students’ sensory-motor dysfunction, motor skills, self-care, and daily living activities. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide treatment, program consultation, and environmental modifications. This role involves travel to school sites and providing support on proprietary company platforms such as VillageED and iTAAP.What We OfferCompetitive salary: $50 - $100 per hour, DOECompany-provided laptops, resources, and tools for success.Mileage reimbursement at IRS rates.Reimbursement for approved travel expenses.Professional, collaborative work environment with growth opportunities.What You’ll DoAssess students within their education settings using an ecological model.Provide treatment, program consultation, and environmental modifications to improve student function.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including teachers, physical therapists, and speech pathologists.Maintain knowledge of California laws and policies governing special education and occupational therapy services.Monitor therapy programs and consult with staff on treatment strategies.Provide interpretation of assessment reports to families and recommend activities to support motor goals at home.Maintain timely and accurate student records.Travel to school sites across California and occasionally to our Pasadena, CA, for corporate meetings.Provide client support on VillageED and iTAAP platforms.What You BringState Board Certified Occupational Therapist License.Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.Apply today to make a lasting impact on the lives of students!This job description provides a general overview of the role and key responsibilities, but is not an exhaustive list of all duties or requirements.
