Come join us.What you’ll do:Coordinate day-to-day shipment assignments and operations with internal and external stakeholders. Regular communication with local partners and carriersRun FMT (our internal Fulfillment Management Tool) twice daily to assign schedules to shipments for Execution team to place bookings on with carriersMaintain FMT data including allocation, sailing schedules, cut-off dates, etcExecute pre-bookings, support/hypercare trial shipment and submit rollover list if necessaryCreate best practices, work on function enhancements, do automation study and provide feedback to tech/engineering teamsConduct data analysis on utilization and forecasts vs allocationManage and resolve exceptions and escalations through the operations process in a timely manner based on agreed SLA’sBuild and develop local carrier relationships including coverage of carrier meetings, performance metrics, market intelligence collection (extraloader plans, omissions and blank sailings)Work with the Ocean Procurement and Allocation & Yield on allocation planning and escalation handling. Manage hard allocation and give feedback to Allocation & Yield on requirements. Prepare forecasts and request soft allocation to match surplus demand in order to secure space for our clientsOptimize through net revenue steering and deadfreight performance managementMonitor performance on OTE and other relevant metricsWork on continuous process improvementsAdditional projects and duties as assignedWhat you’ll need:BA/BS degree with a strong track record of successMinimum 2 years of experience at a startup, top consulting firm, an NVOCC pricing, procurement or operations team or in a supply-chain role, hands on experience of Transpacific trade is a plusExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAn obsession with client happiness.
