Ocean Transportation Specialist

For one of our most trusted and worldwide clients, we are currently looking for a Ocean Transportation Specialist. The role could be located in the both locations of the company - in Sofia and in Varna.Your ResponsibilitiesCreating and completing shipment details in internal data management system (Carrier/Vessel, Item description, etc);Building and maintaining a strong partnership with key carriers and vendors;Preparing files, gathering all necessary information from customers and carriers to arrange customs and transport formalities in cooperation with the in house brokerage and intermodal team;Reviewing alignment of shipping instructions including to clarify any deviations/conflicts taking country regulations, compliance and rate and routing information into consideration;Monitoring operational performance of carriers and other vendors such as warehouse & customs/intermodal services, initiating and resolving any rate discrepancies;Working closely with Customer Care, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to operations;Supporting the Customer Care team in resolving complaints.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Logistics;Proven experience in Sea Logistics & good knowledge in Freight Forwarding;Very good verbal and written knowledge of English;Good understanding of INCOTERMS;Strong team player with the ability to work independently;Effective problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.The Company offers:Work in a dynamic international business environment;Competitive remuneration package;In-house corporate training;Position where ideas are valued and initiative encouraged.If you recognize yourself in the description above, send us your CV in English today!Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.Recruitment license from National Agency of Employment №1814 from 08.12.2014
