The Surfside Fresh Start teacher will serve in multiple capacities at the continuation high school, including, but not limited to, planning and teaching remedial and intervention classes as well as providing push-in support to students in their core math and English classes during the day. For example, the Fresh Start teacher may teach 3 Math or English classes while pushing in to two others. This ratio of teaching vs. pushing in will be adjusted according to students' needs each quarter. Applicants should have experience teaching math and/or English at the high school level.
