Odoo Functional Lead – ERP & Business Systems

🚀 Welcome to Your Next Adventure!As an Odoo Functional Lead – ERP & Business Systems, you will play a key role in ensuring stable, scalable, and efficient ERP operations.You will translate business requirements into functional workflows, support development activities, align cross-module architecture, and drive continuous improvements across Finance, Operations, Procurement, WMS, and Delivery.This is an individual contributor role that serves as the functional backbone of the Odoo ecosystem, working closely with Odoo Developers, the Technical Lead, QA team, and the WMS Project Manager to deliver high-quality, integrated solutions.🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands OnFunctional Architecture & DesignAct as the main functional owner of Odoo Inventory and relevant modules and end-to-end business flowsTranslate business requirements into functional specifications and workflow designsEnsure alignment of inter-module logic (Sales ↔ Inventory, Purchase ↔ Finance)Evaluate business requests and design scalable, realistic Odoo solutions.Be on top of workflows, automation rules, access rights, approvals, validation layers, views, and reportsEnsure all configurations follow best practices and maintain system stabilityValidate technical changes delivered by developers before UATReduce back-and-forth between business and developers by providing clarity and functional leadershipSupport WMS PM by ensuring Odoo processes work correctly with warehouse operationsValidate end-to-end business scenarios across modulesContinuous Improvement & Process OptimizationIdentify inefficiencies, manual tasks, and gaps across departments; propose Odoo-based automationWork with business leaders to optimize processes that impact cost, speed, and data accuracy.Evaluate new Odoo versions, features, and improvements for internal rollout.🧙‍♂️ The Magic You Bring3–6 years of deep hands-on Odoo functional experience (Enterprise preferred)Strong understanding of Odoo workflows, data models, and cross-module dependencies.Ability to write clear functional specifications and evaluate developer outputStrong business process knowledge across Finance, Procurement, Operations, Inventory, and LogisticsExperience with Odoo Studio, basic API concepts, or low-code configurations is a plusExcellent analytical, documentation, and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple modules simultaneouslySelf-driven, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently as an IC✨ Bonus Points If You HaveReduced functional issues and reworkDelivered stable cross-module workflows with minimal defectsLowered dependency on external vendorsAutomated manual processes through OdooImproved data accuracy across key departmentsResolved functional tickets quicklyDelivered enhancements on time and aligned with business goalsInside Snoonu’s UniverseSnoonu is Qatar’s homegrown Super App, reinventing daily life with blazing-fast delivery, shopping, and more – all in one place.
