We support our clients with workforce solutions for offshore and onshore projects worldwide. This position is being offered on behalf of one of our trusted clients. The RoleFinancial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This includes tracking vessel expenses, handling payroll for maritime personnel, and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and industry-specific regulations. Key ResponsibilitiesManage cash flow, maintain a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism. Prepare monthly financial reports, consolidation reports, and cash flow statements.
Ensure the company's financial health, analyze results, and provide forecasts. Register accounting entries accurately and timely. Prepare and process accounts payable. Monitor accounts payable and receivable. Bank accounts/statements reconciliations. Perform vendors and agents’ reconciliation. Manage the Master's General Account (MGA). Conduct month-end reconciliations. Generate and process sales invoices. Additional Duties: Collaborate with external accountants to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting. Participate in the preparation of year-end financial statements and other financial reports. Assist in developing budgets and forecasts to support financial planning. Manage and monitor payroll processes. Assist in preparing documentation for tax filings.
What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3-5 years of experience as an accountant in the shipping industry or a related field. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in English (both written and oral).
