Department: Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage Location: Lausanne, SwitzerlandContract Type: Internship (12 months)Activity Level: 100% The International Olympic Committee is the guardian of the Olympic Games and the leader of the Olympic Movement. A truly global organisation, it acts as a catalyst for collaboration between all Olympic stakeholders, including the athletes, the National Olympic Committees, the International Federations, Organising Committees for the Olympic Games, the Worldwide Olympic Partners and Olympic broadcast partners. It also collaborates with public and private authorities including the United Nations and other international organisations. About the role: As the Olympic Values Advancement (OVA) Trainee you will be supporting the implementation of initiatives promoting Olympic values across OFCH programmes and in collaboration with IOC departments and external partners. Additionally, you will also be contributing to the development of the Olympic Values Education Programme by participating in educational content creation, contextualization and dissemination. Ultimately, you will be gaining experience in international projects, educational content development, and stakeholder engagement. Your responsibilities:Content and Resource DevelopmentAssists creation of educational materials for Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage projects, the Olympic Movement stakeholders (National Olympic Committees, Organising Committees of the Olympic Games, Athletes, etc.) and Olympic values implementation partners.Supports the dissemination of content through digital and communication channels.Compiles feedback and statistics the existing materials to inform regular updates and improvements.Sources content for production and events as needed by the team: photos, videos, graphics, etc.Programme support Assists in planning, coordination, and delivery of Olympic Values Advancement (OVA) initiatives and OVEP projects.Conduct background research on Olympic education, youth engagement, and values-based learning initiatives.Maintains and updates the educational activities tracker, providing regular progress reports.Helps organise meetings, including logistics, preparation of materials, and drafting of meeting minutes.Documents project outcomes and lessons learned to support institutional knowledge-sharing.Event and Training SupportProvides logistical and communication support for OVA and OVEP Train-the-Trainer workshops, webinars, and events.Assists in preparing participant lists, materials, and follow-up documentation.Supports the development of slide decks, facilitator notes, and learning aids. Communication and AdvocacyDraft short articles, social media posts, and web updates highlighting OVA and OVEP initiatives.Assist in producing communication assets showcasing impact stories and key achievements.Help collect visuals, testimonials, and quotes from partners for internal and external communication.The successful candidate will be equipped with the following:University degree or equivalent in education.Knowledge of curriculum design and development.English or French mother tongue with excellent knowledge of the other language.Digital savviness.Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools.
