Focus, accountability and commitment are the fundamental values that permeate our company culture, as well as a strong orientation towards our customers and a multicultural environment.Bio-Rad is looking for a Production Manager (100%) for its site in Cressier/FR.The Production Manager is responsible for the operational supervision of the ID card production sector, which comprises four teams working in two shifts: two teams working on fully automated lines and two teams working on semi-automated lines (approximately 30 to 40 people). He/she ensures the proper execution of processes, safety, quality, and the achievement of performance objectives.How You’ll Make An ImpactEnsure the smooth operation of equipment and production lines: produce in line with quality, cost, and deadline requirements.Guarantee employee safety and compliance with EHS guidelinesOrganize production schedules and teamsEnsure effective communication and manage performance monitoring points by aligning objectives and facilitating key performance indicatorsIdentify and resolve technical and organizational issuesValidate technical adjustments related to maintenanceParticipate in process improvement and develop teams on Lean tools and a culture of continuous improvementDirect supervision: 30 operators, supervised on the production line by operational team leaders working two shiftsCoordinate with these team leadersEnsure document traceability via PI-Sheet, JobCard, etc.Prepare, guarantee, and monitor budget complianceContribute to the execution of the site strategy: lead improvement and transformation projects.What you bringSolid expertise in an industrial environment with previous experience as a production managerExperience in team managementExperience with Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologiesOperational leadership, ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organizationKnowledge of automated production processesOrganizational skills, pragmatism, analytical mind, and problem-solving abilityTechnical or industrial trainingSpoken French and good level of English.
