Brand/Division: Shiseido CanadaHiring Manager: Senior Manager, Growth MarketingDepartment: Digital Shared ServicesJob Title: Specialist, Online Merchandising Job Summary: The role will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class online customer experience by strategically managing site merchandising across the Shiseido Group’s portfolio of prestige brands. This includes optimizing product presentation, enhancing navigation and discoverability, and ensuring alignment with brand identity and business objectives to drive engagement and conversion.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Manage all site merchandising, content and promotion updates utilizing the SalesForce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform (in coordination with Brand Ecommerce teams).Maximize use of all merchandising tools within SFCC including business manager, A/B testing, Einstein, Predictive Intelligence, sorting rules, search functionality and analytics. Monitor new features roll-out from SFCC and ensure adoption and utilization. Ensure flawless execution of site merchandising, content and promotion updates and perform functional testing (UAT) of changes before production releases.Lead and execute with a data-driven and detail-oriented approach in understanding what drives customers to engage and convert. Handle site operations, provide support for Salesforce Commerce Cloud technical requests and 3rd party tools, and identify ways to optimize tech stack.Collaborate with Digital IT teams to define, test and deliver site enhancementsWork with Analytics team to ensure proper tagging implementationManage and execute tasks distributed from 3rd party vendor annual audits (ie. SEO, PowerReviews)Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders:Brand TeamsAmericas Transformation TeamDigital Transformation OfficeSAC ITExternal Agencies and VendorsQualifications & Competencies: 5 years’ experience in Ecommerce with an in depth understanding of online merchandising, digital marketing, web analytics, UX principles, site usability, visual design and usability testing.Extensive experience with Ecommerce platforms and tools, preferably Salesforce Commerce CloudDemonstrates strong analytical thinking and a data-driven approach to decision-makingEffective time-management and project management skillsCapable of aligning priorities with strategic business objectives Highly organized with a structured approach to tasks and responsibilitiesProficient in developing and managing timelines to meet critical deadlinesAble to interpret site analytics data, build reports, and summarize in meaningful way for the goals of the business Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance Collaborative team member with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilitiesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointFamiliarity with the beauty industry is considered an assetTrust 8 CompetenciesBelow is a list of Trust 8 Competencies designed to help employees at Shiseido Americas succeed as the company continues to evolve and innovate.Think Big: Adapt a big-picture perspective.
