Openshift Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled OpenShift Engineer with a focus on automation to join our dynamic team. As an OpenShift Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining OpenShift environments to support scalable, highly- available cloud applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational processes, drive infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, and integrate automation into container orchestration systems. This role requires a deep understanding of OpenShift, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, along with expertise in automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and application deployment.Your ResponsibilitiesOpenShift Platform Engineering: Architect, deploy, and maintain OpenShift clusters across multiple environments (on-premise, cloud, hybrid) to ensure availability, scalability, and security.Automation Development: Design and implement automation solutions using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar to manage infrastructure as code and automate repetitive operational tasks.CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Develop, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of containerized applications on OpenShift.Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) for proactive health checks and performance tuning. Troubleshoot issues related to OpenShift, Kubernetes, and associated infrastructure.Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices in containerized environments, including role-based access control (RBAC), security policies, and auditing capabilities within OpenShift.Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to build, scale, and secure OpenShift environments.
