Senior Software Engineer- Polyglot

These libraries are widely used across commercial and open source projects. We are looking for an Experienced (Senior) Software Engineer to contribute to the growth and development of Redis' ecosystem. If so, this role is for you.What You’ll DoContribute to several client library projects, such as redis-py, node-redis, or go-redisCollaborate on open source projects used by developers worldwideAdvocate for an exceptional developer experience and best practicesHelp adding support for existing and new Redis features to client librariesAct as technical lead for initiatives beyond the scope of a single programming language Work closely with external contributors, library users, client developers, product managers, and collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering teamsWhat will you need to have?Be a real team player Ability to communicate technical terms and concepts clearlyFamiliarity with agile methodologies and work environmentsExperience with designing software solutions from scratchAt least 6 years of hands-on development experienceProficiency in at least two of the following languages (with at least 4 years combined experience): Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or PHPFluency in English, both written and spokenExtra Great If You HaveProficiency in another programming language, for instance C, C++, Rust, or Zig Strong understanding of distributed database systems and network technologiesExperience with maintaining a public open source libraryPractical experience with database systemsFamiliarity with LinuxBulgariaWe Give Back To Our EmployeesOur culture is what makes Redis a fun and rewarding place to work.
