Position Summary Seeking an exceptionally dynamic and experienced Operations Director for Contract Logistics division. The primary focus of this role is to expand Contract Logistics presence throughout GREC. This role is responsible for the strategic direction and daily execution of our contract logistics operations, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction and retention. By optimizing resources and processes, the Director will secure operational excellence, manage the P&L, and contribute to the account's profitable growth. Key Accountabilities Strategic Operational Leadership & P&L Management: Provide overall strategic direction for the contract logistics operations. Be fully accountable for the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the business unit, driving profitability through effective budget management, cost control, and revenue growth initiatives. Client Relationship & internal / external KPI Fulfilment: Serve as the primary point of escalation for key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and strategic partnership. Guarantee that all services delivered meet or exceed the agreed-upon SLA (Service Level Agreement) and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) targets outlined in client contracts. Talent Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations management team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability. Be responsible for talent retention, succession planning, and building operational capabilities across the organization. Quality operation commitment & improvements execution : Execute & deliver operational excellence across all warehouses and distribution centers by implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Optimize processes for warehousing, transportation, and value-added services to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Synergy: Orchestrate seamless collaboration across Sales, Commercial, Finance, and HR departments. Develop unified business plans, integrate new business smoothly, and align operational resources with strategic company objectives Supply Chain Risk Management & Innovation: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational and security risks. Develop robust business continuity plans and champion the adoption of innovative solutions in automation and digitalization to enhance supply chain resilience and competitive advantage. BCP implementation: To ensure operation continuity by foreseeing the risks and having a plan to be executed is one of required competencesQualifications & Experience A minimum of 10-12 years of professional experience in contract logistics, third-party logistics (3PL), supply chain management, or related industriesIncluding at least 5-7 years in a senior operations management role (such as Operations Director or Senior Operations Manager) with overall responsibility for the operations of multiple warehouses or logistics centersFamiliarity with the Contract Logistics sector in China and knowledge of local regulations and market dynamics is essentialDeep understanding of contract logistics, supply chain management, warehousing and distribution, and transportation managementDemonstrated proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage conflicts, and make strategic decisionsStrong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to manage operational issues, logistical challenges, and business strategyExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise with different stakeholders, including customers, staff, and senior management EEO Statement DP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
