You will work with Ansell Global teams, business leaders and other key stakeholders to successfully maintain trade compliance programs. What can you expect from Ansell?Work for a world leader in the health and safety protection solutions industry.A secure workplace with competitive remuneration and annual bonus based on own and company performance.Flexible schedule with a combination of home and office-based working.Inclusive, collaborative, and supportive work atmosphere.A diverse and international work environment.What your role will be in details?You will be:Drive compliance & responsible for developing and establishing standard operational policies or guidelines to ensure smooth and safe flow of goods and materials comply with Greater China, Japan & Korea Customs, and applicable Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).Provide guidance on Trade Compliance, customs and international regulatory changes and update to key business stakeholders.Be the resident expert on trade compliance or customs issues to the business and key stakeholders and lead with the goal of eliminating roadblocks at time of customs formalities.Work closely with Supply Chain team for management of customs broker escalations on regulatory compliance issues gating importation to ensure that Ansell’s Supply Chain is not disrupted.Review and audit import/export documentations by monthly (Bills of Entry, Shipping documents, Certificate of Origin).Classify products under correct HTS codes and verify customs valuation accuracy.Apply FTA benefits to minimize import & export duty costs.Track customs duty spend and report savings opportunities.Work closely with supply chain, logistics, finance, and legal teams to align trade compliance processes with business needs.Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities by conducting root cause analyses, presenting insights, and recommending effective business solutions.To ensure proper maintenance of records / documents and other detailsfor our requirements as well as Government’s requirements.Any other duties from time to time and oversee new project start-ups & project management.What you will bring?Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or Business or equivalent or higherExperience in Transportation Logistics, Freight Forwarding Logistics operating / functional role & responsibilities.Knowledge of import / export customs & trade compliance regulations in APAC Region.Knowledge in Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and Cert of Origin in APAC region.Familiar with customs brokerage operations and processes.Solid understanding of the principles of supply chain management, international logistics and trade regulations.Knowledgeable, experience and proven ability to efficiently coordinate with customs, trade authorities and other local authorities to resolve audits, challenges and queries.Acquired knowledge in general shipping matters – ie.
