Operational Accountant

The Finance & Payroll team of TELUS Digital Bulgaria is a fully-fledged finance division of the leading CX (Customer Experience) provider in Bulgaria for TELUS Digital. The Finance Department is covering all areas of finance, accounting, pricing and procurement. We run ERP System Workday, our financials are audited by a Big 4 auditor, we partner with 4 large international banks and operate in a global company.Do you want to face and tackle multiple complex financial/ERP challenges, be part of a dynamic, experienced and motivated team?Today, we are hiring for the role of Operational Accountant!Your responsibilities:Diligently record daily bookings for business transactions as per IFRSPrepare and review of the weekly disbursement scheduleAccount for financial transactions, run month-end bank freezes and bank reconciliationsPrepare orders for payments to suppliers and the state budget, ensure maker-checker process is adhered toApply critical thinking to ensure accurate recording and analysis of revenues and expensesPayroll bookings and analysisActively participate in monthly closing proceduresPrepare reports including for management purposesParticipate in preparation of VAT declarations, audits and other mandatory monthly and annual reports and documents under Bulgarian legislationParticipate in the calculation and accounting of the company's tax obligations, including VAT, one-off taxes, corporate, etc.Contributor to the preparation of the interim and the annual individual and consolidated financial statements under IFRSParticipate and support the process of preparing the company's budget.Prepare various reconciliations and reports for SOX auditThe role reports directly to the Chief AccountantOur requirements:Master's degree in Accounting and/or FinanceMinimum 3 years of experience in a similar rolePrior experience with ERP System would be an advantageExcellent knowledge of the Bulgarian accounting and tax legislationAdvanced analytical, organizational and communication skillsFluency in EnglishAdvanced skills in ExcelAttention to detailTeam playerWe offer:Stable job and career development opportunitiesGreat office at top locationAttractive salaryAdditional health insurance50+ benefits and services to choose fromPositive international working environmentSupport and learningEmployee referral bonusesWe care about our employees' well–being, invest in their future growth, and encourage fun and team-building projects!Does it sound like the perfect job for you?
