Operational Risk Manager

Role SummaryThis role will report directly to the Head of Operational Risk and Trade Surveillance.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of the Operational Risk Manager will include the following: Manage Fullerton’s incident management process to identify incident, analyze root causes, review control adequacy and propose practical solutions to mitigate risksMonitor the implementation of risk mitigating action plansProvide updates on operational risk exposures to relevant committeesReview and maintain operational risk framework and related policiesParticipate in the conduct of deep dive / end-to-end process review Assist with outsourcing risk related matters (risk assessment, ongoing monitoring, coordination of the Outsourcing Committee, update of the outsourcing register) Contribute to the operational due diligence on service providers Coordinate the preparation of the ISAE 3402 report with internal process ownersBeing a backup on the conduct of ODD on Alternative funds and trade surveillanceEducation QualificationDegree in Accounting, Finance, or any other risk management related disciplines.Experience and Skills2 to 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial institutionsProactive, self-starter and independentExcellent communication and influencing skills Hands-on experience in risk and control assessment Ability to challenge the status quo and drive changesComfortable engaging multiple individuals with different level of seniorityAbility to multi-task, prioritize and work under tight timelineKnowledge of the investment management industry Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
