Understanding of best practices in scheduling, ERP systems, and data/metric analysis is essential for this role to be successful. Responsible for assisting in a variety of production tasks. The position plays also a critical role in the supply chain of the Hu Friedy Group sutures.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesCoordination of clean room and packaging department with hands-on approach.Generate production planning in agreement with order acknowledges to meet customer expectations.Work in conjunction with Warehouse Organization.Maintain daily/weekly production schedules in line with customer and the companies’ requirements.Responsible for timely communication of product availability with internal customers.Provides support to production as required.Support actively 5S introduction and lean principles for production and logistic areasContinuous improvement: Evaluates existing processes, plans, implements initiatives to improve process by applying Lean methods, supporting inter-functional improvement teams.Build KPIs relevant production using all the available datasCooperate with Site Leader and Maintenance/Facility/HSE Manager to keep at the state of the art the siteCooperate with Maintenance/Facility/HSE Manager to implement and keep top health and safety standards in ProductionProcurement of production materials, handling shipments and incoming ordersComplies with the Quality Policy with the objectives set by the Management for the improvement of the company and the Quality Management System.Qualification Required For PositionPrevious experience in leading/coordinating a small/medium sized group of resources.Experience in an ERP/MRP environment preferred.Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) skills preferred.Lean Manufacturing concepts and the ability to demonstrate everyday incremental improvements within job scope.Demonstrated ability to follow up with tasks and issues along with problem-solving skills are essential. Ability to drive and sustain improvements to Supply Chain processes.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as leader or member.
