Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to join our team in Marietta, GA. This is a full-time onsite non-exempt position reporting to the COO.MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSBA/BS with Quantitative Focus preferred1-3 years relevant work experienceKnowledge of database & analytical skills, SQL, Python, SASProficient with all Microsoft Office programs, primarily Excel for data analysis purposesStrong communication skills both oral and writtenMedical experience a plusTableau experience a plusPOSITION SUMMARY:The Operations Analyst will support all aspects of Operations, Revenue Cycle and Analytics. Assist Director of Analytics in full analysis of clinical operations and revenue cycle.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProduce analytics to support clinical operational efficiency planning.Provide oversight and perform detailed analysis of the revenue cycle exceptions portal to ensure timely and accurate issue resolutionMaintain and support internal Quantum Radiology databases and front-end user interfacesDevelop and deliver reporting on overall revenue cycle performance.Conduct variance analysis for newly onboarded providers and payers to validate proper enrollment, reimbursement, and payment accuracyPerform monthly denial management reviews to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunitiesReview contractual variances and identify underpayments in accordance with payer agreementsMaintain payer contracts, ensure contractual escalators are implemented correctly, and manage ongoing payer relationshipsMeet weekly with the COO to review revenue cycle issues, escalation items, and required follow-up actionsManage patient inquiries via phone and website channels, ensuring timely and professional responsesPrepare, submit, and track revenue cycle corrections, coordinating closely with hospital departments as neededAnalyze claims data for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate reimbursement; ensure correct patient demographic and insurance information is submitted and coordinate follow-up with the outsourced billing vendor for non-hospital-based business monthlyParticipate in Radiology Revenue Cycle meetings and industry conferences, with minimal travel requiredWorking Conditions (travel, hours, environment)While performing the duties of this job, the employee is working primarily in a medical office and/or hospital environment.Subject to noise, crowded workspaces, alarms and flashing lights.Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a hospital environment.Note: All duties and responsibilities listed are considered to be essential job functions and requirements, and are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.
