With a strong reputation in the renewable energy sector, we are focused on expanding our market share and pioneering new offshore ventures.As part of the growing LiftOff team there are many chances for you to develop your skills whilst making it possible for both LiftOff and our clients to reach greater heights.Your RoleAs an Operations Engineer in LiftOff, you play multiple roles. Firstly, you will quickly find yourself preparing and executing complete offshore projects. The preparation phase is done from our office in Den Haag, while on site you could fill in the roles of Site Engineer, Site Lead or Technician as soon as the execution phase comes on locations across the world. On-site experience like this will prepare you for the second part of your job: being the link between our office and the operational teams. With a strong focus on practical engineering, you will ensure that what is designed can be effectively executed in real-world conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop method statements, lift plans, and additional essential documentation for project execution.Work as an Operations Engineer on site, ensuring the successful implementation of lifting solutions and marine operations.Oversee the testing of new equipment at our yard locations or client sites.Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are optimized for practical application.Provide technical expertise during project execution, ensuring safe and efficient operations.What we are looking forA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil) or a Maritime-related field (Naval Architect).Strong operational insight with a practical approach to engineering challenges.Willingness to travel and to work offshore.Ability to translate engineering concepts into real-world applications.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Comfortable with working in a dynamic environment.Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.Hands-on, proactive attitude with a structured, team-oriented mindset.Experience in offshore operations and lifting is not necessary, but it is considered a benefit.What’s in It for You Competitive salary, tailored to your experience and skills.Exciting projects, working with cutting-edge technology.Learning opportunities in the form of courses and training, to get you where you need to be.Innovative work environment, focused on operational excellence and problem-solving.A dynamic workplace.Opportunities for professional growth, with exposure to high-impact offshore operations.
