Together, we get the job done and done well. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Excellence Intern to join our team and support process improvement initiatives that make a real impact. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operational strategy, lean principles, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced industry. We are looking for students who can start in Q1 (February 2026).What You’ll DoSupport the Operations Excellence team in identifying and implementing process improvements across multiple departments.Assist in gathering and analyzing operational data to drive efficiency and reduce waste.Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and other projects to support business objectives.Create clear and organized process documentation, standard work instructions, and visual management tools.Help track performance metrics and build reports to measure improvement progress.Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in production, supply chain, quality, and engineering.Position RequirementsMust be authorized to work in the USHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCurrently a third year student graduating Spring 2027, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Preferred CharacteristicsFamiliarity with data visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus.Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.Interest in Lean methodologies, process improvement, or project management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Salary: $24-26 per hour, based on experienceRaising the Standard of Excellence since 1911With over a century of proven excellence, StandardAero has become an industry leader in MRO services and customized solutions in the aerospace field.
