JOB TITLE: Operations & IT Support AdministratorPOSITION REPORTS TO: Chief Operations OfficerEMPLOYMENT BASIS: PermanentLOCATION: Remote [GMT +2 to GMT +5:30]TIME COMMITMENT: FulltimeROLE DESCRIPTIONATEC exists to decarbonise cooking for all households across the Global South with our patented IoT eCook stoves. 4 billion people across Asia & Africa still lack access to modern cooking - generating 1 gigaton of emissions, more than the global airline industry. ATEC’s patented IoT technology means usage data is converted into 100% data-verified carbon credits - a global first for the sector. ATEC is now expanding across Asia & Africa - working with last-mile distributors and net-zero partners to decarbonise cooking at scale.The Operations Support Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Global HQ team. This role ensures the smooth functioning of systems, processes, and IT-related coordination across the organization. The position involves managing end-user devices, supporting identity and access controls, maintaining compliance documentation, and coordinating incident response and security awareness activities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. End-User & Device ManagementCoordinate the setup, configuration, issuance, and return of company devices (laptops, peripherals, etc.).Support end-users with hardware, operating system, MDM, and VPN issues.Facilitate repairs, replacements, and the secure disposal of devices.2. Identity & Access ManagementAssist with multi-factor authentication (MFA) enforcement and password resets.Support user role and permission management in line with organizational access controls.Conduct quarterly access reviews and help manage account provisioning and deactivation.Log and support responses to identity-related incidents (lost devices, phishing attempts, account lockouts).3. Infrastructure & Systems SupportCoordinate data backup and recovery procedures in collaboration with the Technology and operations teams.Support the documentation and tracking of systems configurations and maintenance schedules.4. Security & ComplianceAssist in planning and executing security awareness and phishing simulation exercises.Support policy enforcement and incident response documentation.Maintain compliance records and track corrective actions following incidents.5. Policy & GovernanceMaintain up-to-date IT and operations policy registers and documentation.Ensure proper alignment of onboarding and offboarding processes with company policies.Support periodic audits and ensure all records meet internal governance standards.Other responsibilities as delegated by the Chief Operations OfficerQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEExperienceDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or IT-related field.1–2 years of experience in administrative or IT operations support roles.Basic understanding of IT systems, identity management, and security awareness principles.Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills.High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.Strong teamwork and service-oriented mindset.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESAlignment with ATEC’s core values of One Team, Continuous Learning & Goal-OrientatedEnjoy working in a fast paced and distributed startup/scaleup work environmentComfortable with rapid iterationHigh attention to detailResolute in using your skills and experience to make the strongest possible impact in the world
