This newly created Operations Lead role is a unique opportunity to build, shape, and influence the way we operate within ACC's Technical Services team. Technical Services is a specialist technical guidance and operational policy function within ACC that supports consistent and high-quality decision-making across the organisation. As the Operations Lead, you'll be at the heart of the of Technical Services extended leadership team, helping to define, refine, and continuously improve how we deliver our services. You'll lead the development of critical operational processes (such as commissioning and prioritising work) and systems development and maintenance as well as managing SharePoint sites, ensuring that our business operations run smoothly, efficiently, and with excellence. Your leadership will influence operational performance and inspire collaboration, helping unlock new levels of success for the team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and loves turning ideas into actions. You'll have the freedom to innovate and the opportunity to leave a lasting imprint on how we operate. Collaboration is at our core. You'll work closely with the leadership team and key stakeholders, building strong partnerships to ensure seamless delivery and shared success. This role can be based in Albany, Manukau, Wellington or Dunedin. About you | Mōu You'll have a tertiary qualification in business (or a related field such as Lean Six Sigma) or at least 3 years experience in a similar role, supporting operations managementYou've led teams or project teams to success, keeping operations running smoothly while inspiring collaboration and accountability, even when you don't have direct authority.You're passionate about imbedding new ways of working and driving innovation across teams.You have demonstrated expertise in executing continuous improvement initiatives through the application of a systems thinking methodology.You have proficiency in data analysis.You have effective time management, prioritisation, and strong problem-solving abilities.You have the the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.You're systems savy and confident working across multiple platforms and systems.
