We are excited to receive applications for our new Operations Lead, who will manage our team of project managers, drive the scaling of our operational capacity across Europe, and just be a great person to spend time with in and outside of the office. A day in the life might involve - Morning Team Standup for Project Updates, Coffee with the CTO to discuss operational product feedback, catching up with our managed warehouse to check on their delivery KPIs, 121 with one of your project managers, putting out some fires on a live project with an install team on site, and some thinking time on the expansion into Ireland and how we’ll scale our delivery network there. Successful candidates will be familiar with real estate, managing contractors, and smart buildings / IoT. Previous experience with project management is preferred, as well as knowledge of German Language. The role is remote EU, or Hybrid in office in London. LinkedIn applications will not be considered. Thank you for your time and consideration -Stefan & TasosKey Responsibilities:Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation through completion, ensuring that all objectives are met within scope, time, and budget. Operations Strategy: Develop our Operations strategy from the ground up, with a focus on scaling operational capability across MeterZ’s core european markets.Installer Management: Own the recruitment, vetting, training and ongoing management of relationships with our installer network. Operational Process Creation & Optimization: Analyse existing processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Create new processes to drive better business outcomes for MeterZ.Team Coordination: Work closely with our internal team, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and positive collaboration. Progress Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on project status, operational performance, and other relevant metrics to management teams including input to the board.Core Skills Required:Organisational: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively, with a keen attention to detail.Strategic Mindset: Creative and purposeful strategic thinking, with big ideas and clear paths to successful execution.Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.Interpersonal Skills:  Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, customers, installers and other stakeholders.IT Native: Comfortable with any tech suite, AI, and more. We work at a fast pace with the latest tools. Nice to Have Skills (Optional):European Languages: Any European language is a plus, applicants with German language skills are preferred. Building Technical Skills: Any knowledge of electrical engineering, wireless communication networks, building engineering, or building technology are a plus.Logistics & Shipping: Experience managing logistics across different countries, and ensuring deliveries are compliant with tax and other regulations.Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project). And G-Suite. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical field.
