Operations ManagerCompany Overview:We are currently seeking an Operations Manger to join our team of skilled professionals at our headquarters in Vaughan, ON. This key position will oversee critical operational functions across our two distinct business lines: custom cabinetry and homebuilder projects. Position Overview:Increase management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities and Key Performance Measurables; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives.Develop a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities.Participate in developing strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives.Accomplish objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.Coordinate efforts by establishing procurement, production, field, and technical services policies and practices; coordinating actions with corporate staff.Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.Core AccountabilitiesProvides vision and leadership for all departmental activities.Organizes regular staff meetings and builds an environment in which employees willingly produce maximum work.Reviews financial statements, sales and activity reports and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.Establishes and implements departmental policies, goals objectives, systems and procedures.Responsible for planning and directing the organization to ensure and enhance performance, productivity and profitability.Organizes, leads, and controls daily operations of business.Master executer of owner’s vision and direction for growth of the business.Project Management – planning and execution of various departmental projects related to all Company areas.Requires excellent negotiation and communication skills, strategic planning and organization ability as well as strong analytical and problem solving skills.Establishes an efficient and effective office through the optimal management of resources, procedures and operations.Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and opportunities for professional development.
