​Full-Time or Two Part-Time Positions Available Reports To: Executive DirectorLocation: Cold Lake, Alberta - Onsite, HybridSalary: $45,000 - $55,000 40 hours/week or Other Part-Time Opportunity​The Operations Manager is the operational backbone of the Cold Lake Food Bank - responsible for ensuring the smooth and compliant running of daily operations. The Operations Manager ensures that the Cold Lake Food Bank operates efficiently, safely, and sustainably through strong management of logistics, finance, and internal processes, enabling the Executive Director to focus on strategic growth, partnerships, and fundraising.​This position can be structured as one full-time role or two part-time positions depending on applicant skills and experience:Option A: Full-Time Operations Manager (Operations & Administration)Option B: Two Part-Time RolesOperations Coordinator (focus: logistics, inventory, volunteer management)Administrative & Finance Coordinator (focus: bookkeeping, data, reporting)​​KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Operations & LogisticsManage day-to-day food bank operations, including intake, inventory tracking, and distribution.Ensure compliance with food safety and occupational health regulations.Oversee procurement, vendor relationships, and delivery coordination.Maintain facility and equipment to ensure safety and functionality. 2. Finance & AdministrationComplete bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.Track and record incoming donations and issue tax receipts as required.Support budget preparation and financial reporting in collaboration with the Executive Director.Maintain accurate records for grants, donations, and operational reporting.Manage payroll and staff scheduling systems as required. 3. Volunteer Coordination in partnership with the Executive DirectorRecruit, train, schedule, and support volunteers.Promote a positive and safe volunteer environment.Implement recognition and retention activities. 4. Data & ReportingMaintain client, donor, and inventory databases.Prepare operational summaries and monthly metrics for Board and Executive review.Track and report on key outcomes, including food distributed and community impact. 5.
