DescriptionJob Title: Operations ManagerJob DescriptionA strategic and people leader for a large team, the Operations Manager at INFC is empowered with complete operations responsibility for Outbound/FCD/ Changeops or IB. She/he is expected to create building level cost efficiencies at a Six sigma level deliverables, coupled with driving Regional/National level key Brilliant Basics Initiatives.Responsibilities Ensure a safe work environment for all associates and team Lead and supervise a team of Area Manager's, TL's as Direct reportees supported by PAs and Associates in Operations Responsible for the overall Safety, Quality, Productivity and Performance Delivery of concerned department operations Strategic planning and forecasting; appraise performance; resolve problems; and address staffing needs Review the work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to produce/deliver during the day to meet the overall building objectives. Ensure BM rates and OP2 throughput deliverables Interfacing well with other OM's. Taking up cross functional projects by the adoption of best practices Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives Learn and understand the system interventions for order processing. Apprise teams down the line of new process implementation and control measures required. Lead ART events from capacity planning perspective and prepare Man, Material, and Machine Carryout machine (resources) planning periodically and remove/reduce capacity constraints if any in coordination with Resource planning and Finance teams. Ensure best practices in people management and accountable for FC's compliance, Connections and scorecards. Manage People and team development Understand Flex levers , take up new Amazon technicalities associated with the role's requirements and Amazon ERP systems. Create leaders and talent pipeline. Good stake holder management and project management skills Do cross functional and cross mile interfacing and take up for the best practices and initiativesBasic Qualifications 3+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experiencePreferred Qualifications Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays 5+ years of experience in managing diverse teams with operational excellence.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
