This is a high-impact, strategic role where you will define how we buy, who we partner with, and how we optimize our infrastructure costs. Your mission includes:Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of two, ensuring they are empowered to hit operational targets while aligning with our broader hardware procurement strategy.Operational Performance & Scalability: You own the "heartbeat" of our hardware availability. Your mission is to ensure our supply chain never becomes a bottleneck, optimizing lead times and production schedules to match our aggressive deployment speed.Strategic Hardware Sourcing & Negotiation: Partner with the Deployment Operations Director to co-lead high-stakes negotiations with our primary hardware manufacturers. You will not be desk-bound; you will visit our suppliers across Europe to audit facilities, maintain relationship health, and ensure our partners are deeply aligned with Powerdot’s quality and delivery standards.Budgeting & Capital Allocation: You will lead the preparation and management of our hardware procurement budget. You will be responsible for a significant multi-million euro annual spend, ensuring capital is deployed efficiently to meet our ambitious pan-European growth targets.Flagship Innovation Project: Drive the transversal launch of new, innovative energy storage and grid-edge solutions. This is a first-of-its-kind initiative for the company, requiring you to coordinate across technical and operational teams to deploy disruptive infrastructure.Hardware TCO Strategy: Develop and evolve our Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model for our Chargers. You will be the primary driver in identifying cost-saving levers and collaborating with technical teams to improve the long-term profitability of our infrastructure.Systems Architecture & Governance: Design the operational blueprint for how we source and deploy assets. You will build high-performance sourcing frameworks, RFQ designs, and automated workflows in collaboration with Finance to ensure we scale with surgical precision.Centralized Asset Oversight: Reinforce a centrally-led procurement model for core assets (EV Chargers, LVMBs, Transformers, etc.), empowering local teams to execute while maintaining strategic alignment and central governance.Contract Oversight: Oversee strategic supplier and charger contract management, focusing on SLA adherence and risk mitigation.This Is About You, Not Us 🫵🏼:The "Swiss Army Knife" Profile: You have 4+ years of experience in operations consulting or have held a similar high-stakes operations role in a fast-paced startup.Financial & Commercial Acumen: You are comfortable managing multi-million budgets and understand how procurement decisions flow through to the P&L and Balance Sheet.Technical & Commercial Hybrid: A degree in Engineering (highly preferred) or Business. You can talk technical specs with our Hardware team and financial strategy with a Director in the same afternoon.Self-Starter: You are a natural builder. You don’t just suggest strategies; you have the hands-on capability to implement them from scratch.Analytical Mindset: You are comfortable with complex data, TCO modeling, and developing standardized frameworks that scale.Language Skills: You are fluent in English (required), with fluency in Portuguese and /or French being a significant advantage for local coordination.Pragmatic & Rigorous: You avoid getting lost in the details and find simple, scalable solutions to complex supply chain problems.Entrepreneurial Spirit: You thrive with autonomy and have the independence to make important decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.Mission-Driven: Passionate about sustainable mobility and eager to conquer a rapidly growing market with a disruptive value proposition.The Kind of Energy We’re Looking For:We’re not into titles, egos, or corporate buzzwords.
