This facility serves the North American, European, Asian and Middle Eastern markets. With this role, you will have the opportunity to be a part of our culture based on innovation, passion and excellence, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, talent is rewarded and diversity is respected.What you need is…Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field requiredMinimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience working in a foreign tradeProficient in customs regulationsProficient with MS Office database systems (specifically Excel) requiredProficiency with SAP is preferredDemonstrated ability and capability to work within tight and changing deadlinesOpen to learning and following new developmentsHigh attention to detail, results oriented, and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAble to work Canadian time zoneAs an Operations Specialist (Transportation), you will be responsible for;Coordinate with the operations officer to align on daily transportation planningEnsure accurate and organized maintenance of shipping documentsMonitor changes in regulations and/or legislation and inform relevant departmentsShare required documents with relevant departments prior to shipments and follow up on received documentationOrganize customs processes for import shipments and customer deliveriesPrepare and verify necessary documents for customs procedures
