In this role, you will ensure an optimal and efficient supply network from bean to consumer, driving projects that enhance operational efficiency and support long-term growth. You will analyse and optimise the supply network on cost and capability, initiate extension and redesign projects, and lead studies that shape our future supply chain strategy.You will work closely with the entire Operations Leadership Team and with cross-functional partners to align key processes and deploy the long-term Operations strategy across all functions. This is a strategic role with significant impact, offering the opportunity to influence how we scale sustainably and deliver on our mission to end exploitation in cocoa.All Wrapped Up, You’re Responsible ForLong-term network planning: Own and manage the 5-year scenario planning model, integrating demand and supply perspectives to guide strategic decisions and future growth. Network analysis and optimisation: Continuously assess the supply network for total cost, capacity utilisation, capability coverage, and geographical reach, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains. Strategic alignment: Link S&OP/IBP planning horizons with long-term strategic objectives, ensuring consistency and clarity across all operational functions. Decision-making support: Lead analytics and provide insights for the Supply Chain Forum, shaping the strategic deployment of our operations strategy across departments. Performance improvement: Evaluate current operational performance—both financial and non-financial—and propose initiatives to enhance efficiency and resilience. Business case development: Build robust business cases in collaboration with Finance, assessing opportunities for vertical integration, network optimisation, geographical manufacturing, co-packing, and capacity expansion. Standard-setting for business cases: Define and uphold standards for operational business case creation, ensuring consistency across all projects and supporting other teams in compliance. Financial and budget governance: Maintain accurate visibility on budgets and 3-year plan compliance by linking initiated, budgeted, and potential projects to financial delivery. Cross-functional coordination: Align objectives across Operations, adapt strategies as needed, and support project prioritisation with the Operations Leadership Team. Performance and planning leadership: Facilitate quarterly goal reflections, year planning, and Operations performance reviews, ensuring strategic alignment and clarity. Stakeholder communication: Organise and lead agendas for Operations Leadership Team meetings, Townhalls, and Supply Chain Shaping Forums, and ensure transparent communication of decisions and trade-offs across the company.
