We have an opportunity for you!Job Summary: The Operations Supervisor implements, maintains, and administers all activities related to the successful operations of the assigned Distribution Center.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Provides supervision and leadership, training, coaching, and feedback to the assigned distribution centerOversees the training and education of all new personnel on RASCO products, operational systems, and company policiesUpholds the Reliable Safety Program as outlined by the Human Resources Department and Director of OperationsMonitors and maintain costs within the budget constraints as outlined in the warehouse budgetImplements the Material Management Program through the forecasting and ordering of required products which includes the accomplishment of the required material turns and the control of slow moving productReviews and approves time sheets, expense reports, and other weekly progress reportsOrganizes, maintains, and reviews all MTO orders, backorders, or other special customer requestsResponsible for the control of all working funds and petty cash distributions.Conducts weekly coordination meetings with staff to discuss operational issues, goal accomplishment, and customer service performanceManages the customer service department to ensure Reliable customers receive professional outstanding service which includes the minimizing of shortages, status of backorders, and the expeditious resolution of customer problemsReviews Customer Service Performance Reports, pricing and freight credits, and all inventory adjustmentsManages daily delivery schedules and freight vendorsMaintains all warehouse activities to include; order processing, receiving, put away, checking, shipping, and returnsOperates forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker and other loading/stacking equipmentChecks shipping supplies which include pallets, boxes, packaging material, tape, labels, & Zebra printer ribbonsMaintains system component ordering schedules and ensures orders are processedMaintains building security Insures cycle counts are completed and accurateFollows up on weekly and monthly reporting regarding shipping speed, productivity, customer service, ISW, etc.Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor. Required to work at heights of 50 feet or more.Physical Demands: Ability to be punctual and attend work on a regular and consistent basisThe person in this position needs to wear appropriate safety clothing and shoes when needed.
