Network Automation Engineer

Opticore IT are currently searching for a Network Automation Engineer with strong experience in scripting with Python to assist in the delivery of network automation to the business. You'll join our excelling team, based in the Newbury. Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more. This is an exciting opportunity to help deliver a newly defined automation framework and automation modules within this framework from a network perspective.

This project involves a full transformation of the scripts rather than just a simple translation. What You'll Be DoingEngage and work as part of a SCRUM delivery team. Work with the architectural function to define the approach to transformation of single scripts into an enterprise level automation solution. Engage and work with highly technical customers. Develop python code to high, enterprise level standards. Utilise your skills and experience to coach junior members of staff to improve on their code quality. If necessary, work to configure CI/CD pipelines. What You'll BringPython language coding skills. Understanding of BASH scripts.
