The company currently has more than 950 professionals in the different areas in which it operates.Neotalent, the responsive people.Role Overview:We are looking for a DBA Oracle 12c/19c to join in one of the largest insurance groups in the world, present in 64 countries. Based in Lisbon (Hybrid).You will be responsible of the database infrastructure; the mission is to provide database services by covering the whole DB lifecycle. to support customers on the move to the cloud journey and put into deliverable both deployment through projects and maintenance in operational condition, also as advisory service on Database strategy.What you will do:Database Operations (Oracle, PostgreSQL)General database services on productive systems including the following:Responding to incident, changes and requests within defined SLA;Monitoring backups and resolve issues;Monitoring through tools and/or custom scriptsMigration / upgrade / copy databases;Supervision of automated patching;Consulting, planning and executing activities with customers;Providing 24x7 support and resolve upcoming issues independently.What you are like:Experience as a DBA or similar role;Experience with Database Administration experience required;Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO);Experience with backups, restore and recovery models;Experience in Automation, industrialization and improvement of the functioning of the Database infrastructure (scripting (T-SQL, PowerShell) and Puppet);Experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server;Experience with Windows server, including Active Directory will be a plus;Critical thinker and problem-solving skillsFluency in English is important.Why join us:Work on challenging projects for big clientsLearn more about emerging technologiesPossibility of working remotelyDesign your career planAccess to continuous training and certificationsEvolve through our internal mobility program… and much more!
