Job Description

Prepare and produce a wide variety of traditional Oriental desserts such as baklava, kunafa, basbousa, and maamoul with high quality and consistency. • Develop and test new Oriental dessert recipes to enhance the menu and meet customer expectations. • Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared according to food safety standards. • Monitor daily production schedules and ensure timely preparation for service. • Decorate and present Oriental pastries in an appealing and authentic style. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen and workstations. • Supervise and train junior pastry staff on techniques and production processes. • Control inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies when needed. • Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times. • Collaborate with the executive chef and kitchen team to plan seasonal or special-event dessert menus.
