Job Title: Overhead Crane Operator (2nd Shift)Location: York, PAShift: 2nd ShiftJob Type: Contract to HirePay Rate: $18.00 - $23.00/Hour (Depending on Experience)General Description:We are seeking a versatile Material Handler for our 2nd shift at our facility in Industrial Drive, PA. This position is ideal for someone who can act as a switch hitter, meaning you’ll be ready to take on various tasks as needed. The Material Handler will assist with a variety of duties, including skidding, operating machines, using an overhead crane, parts cleaning, and more.Key Responsibilities:Handle, move, and stage materials within the facilityOperate overhead cranes to transport materials and assist with production processesHelp with skidding materials, ensuring that all items are appropriately packaged and prepared for shipmentRun machines as needed to support production, ensuring smooth operationsPerform parts cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and readiness of materialsAssist with inventory management, keeping track of materials and suppliesEnsure that safety protocols are followed while operating equipment and handling materialsProvide support to various departments as required to ensure efficient production workflowsRequirements:Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations preferredAbility to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other machinery safelyStrong ability to multi-task and adapt to changing duties throughout the shiftAbility to lift and move heavy materials as requiredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamPrevious experience in manufacturing or industrial environments a plusWillingness to learn and take on various tasks across different areas of productionWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
