Together we provide integrated engineering and project management services across the project lifecycle – from concept and design to construction and operations, to decommissioning or repowering and life extension. Together with our clients, we’re helping to deliver the energy transition globally.About The RoleThe Transmission & Distribution division is seeking a Principal Overhead Line Engineer to join our team in delivering major projects globally.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert OHL engineering advice and input across various projects.Ensure designs adhere to relevant legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.Conduct specialized studies, including feasibility studies, plan and profile drawings, sag-tension analysis, OHL routing, and technical reports.Prepare and review specificationCandidate specificationDegree qualification in Electrical/Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;Experience in an OHL engineering environment including scheme and project / design delivery;Good working knowledge of OHL Standards and Codes of Practice;Experience in the use of engineering design software to develop designs;Ability to promote a high standard of professionalism, effective communication and personal integrity within the design team;Mentor and support junior staff;Proactive, and proficient in working with clients both internally and externally;Ability to work in a team environment.DesirableExperience using OHL engineering software.
