OHTE SupervisorAREA: Kathu; Northern CapeINDUSTRY: Construction / UtilitiesAPPLY: marizel@alos.co.zaAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OHTE Supervisor to join our operations team. The successful candidate will oversee construction activities, manage teams, and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a hands-on approach to supervising site operations.Qualifications & Experience:· D-Blue, Legal Liability, Excavation Supervisor, HIRA, First Aid Level 1, Linesman Trade, IRCON, Construction Regulations, Fire Fighting certifications.· Working at Heights: Fall Arrest & Rescue certifications.· Valid driver’s license and medically fit.· N6 qualification with a vocational trade test preferred.· Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Linesman or similar supervisory role.Key Responsibilities:· Supervise daily site activities, allocating tasks and monitoring team performance.· Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.· Manage site resources, including personnel, plant, tools, and materials.· Maintain accurate site records, including timesheets, diaries, and work instructions.· Mentor and train staff, promoting a culture of safety and professionalism.· Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements.
