(Please note that you must already have work rights in New Zealand to be considered for this role)We are looking for a part time Painter to join our Engineering team!About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for the decorating and maintenance of hotel furniture, wallcoverings, and plant throughout the hotel. While strong painting and decorating skills are essential, we’re also looking for someone with general maintenance or handyman experience to support a wider range of upkeep tasks across the property.The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience as a Painter, with skills in internal and external painting, wallpaper hanging, stripping, and stopping. Knowledge of various paints, adhesives, and wallcovering materials is also required. In addition, prior experience in general maintenance - such as basic repairs, minor carpentry, or furniture touch-ups would be highly beneficial.This role suits a self-motivated individual who can work independently, manage their time well, and is also comfortable supporting the team with tasks outside of painting.
