Join the Team now!Who We Are / mō MātouKo Taku Reo Deaf Education New Zealand is a nationwide team of teaching, learning and professional services staff who share a passion and enthusiasm for delivering high quality education and services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and their whānau. What You Will Do / te MahiAs the CESW Practice Advisor you will work closely with the CESW Lead in overseeing the professional development of paraprofessional staff employed by local schools receiving NZSL@School funding. This role actively supports the Deaf/Hearing partnership. This is a permanent fulltime adult teaching role and there is flexibility where this role is based.You will need to be fluent in NZSL, experienced in mediating the NZ Curriculum through NZSL and understanding the unique language and learning needs of D/HH ākonga in the local school classroom. A bachelor's degree in education is desirable (or related qualification and experience).Only applicants that are legally entitled to work in New Zealand and can make themselves available for an interview will be considered for this position.  We may look to interview prior to closing so please apply early.  Applications close 5pm, Friday 28 November 2025.
