PalmPay is a Pan-African fintech company currently operating in Ghana, Nigeria and expanding to other markets in 2023. We’re reinventing the payments experience by making it easy and reliable for everyone to transfer money, pay bills and shop online. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Recruitment Specialist to manage the full recruitment cycle, from identifying hiring needs to sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding top talent. The ideal candidate will be passionate about connecting people to the right opportunities and helping the company build strong, diverse, and capable teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and workforce planning needsDevelop and post job descriptions on relevant platforms (job boards, social media, internal portals)Source candidates through a variety of channels, including LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and recruitment eventsScreen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidatesConduct initial interviews (phone, video, or in-person) and coordinate interviews with hiring managersMaintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and hiring activityManage communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experiencePrepare offer letters and facilitate pre-employment checks and onboardingTrack recruitment KPIs (e. g.
, time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, sourcing effectiveness) and report on hiring progressBuild and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future openingsStay up to date with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in talent acquisitionRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources Manager,Business Administration, or a related fieldProven experience as a recruiter or talent acquisition specialist (in-house or agency)Solid understanding of recruitment tools, sourcing techniques, and interview methodsExperience using applicant tracking systems (e. g. , Greenhouse, Workable, BambooHR, etc.
