Job Description

PalmPay is a Pan-African fintech company currently operating in Ghana, Nigeria and expanding to other markets in 2023. We’re reinventing the payments experience by making it easy and reliable for everyone to transfer money, pay bills and shop online. We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Dealer Sales Supervisor – Device Financing to manage and grow our dealer network. This role is responsible for driving sales through third-party dealers with a focus on promoting and managing device financing schemes. The ideal candidate will have experience in telecom, consumer electronics, or financial products, particularly with installment or credit-based sales models.

Key Responsibilities:

Dealer & Channel ManagementSupervise and support a network of dealers and retail partners offering device financing optionsEnsure dealer compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and financing programsRegularly visit dealer locations to assess performance, provide training, and resolve issues Sales PerformanceAchieve monthly and quarterly sales targets related to device sales and financing activationsMonitor KPIs, including conversion rates on financed sales, repayment success, and dealer ROIAnalyze sales data and generate actionable insights to improve dealer performance Financing Program OversightCoordinate with financial institutions or in-house credit teams to facilitate smooth financing approval and disbursal processesEducate dealers and their staff on financing schemes, eligibility criteria, and application processesAddress customer or dealer escalations related to financing applications, approvals, or defaults Training & DevelopmentConduct regular product and financing training sessions for dealers and field sales staffGuide dealers on best practices in selling devices through financing optionsOnboard new dealers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements Reporting & ComplianceMaintain accurate records of financed sales, dealer performance, and customer feedbackEnsure all activities align with regulatory requirements, data privacy, and credit guidelinesSubmit weekly and monthly reports to management on dealer performance and financing KPIsRequirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field3–5 years of experience in channel sales, preferably in telecom, fintech, or consumer electronics. Familiarity with device financing models, credit risk, and sales operationsStrong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisionsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsProficient in MS Office and CRM toolsPreferred: Experience working with telecom operators, mobile phone distributors, or microfinance companiesKnowledge of credit scoring systems and financing platformsRegional language fluency (if applicable to location)Key Metrics for Success:
