PAM Safeguard Engineer

The PAM Safeguard Administrator is responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions using One Identity Safeguard. This role ensures secure control over privileged accounts, reduces identity-related risks, and supports compliance with security policies and audit requirements.Key Responsibilities:Deploy, configure, and maintain One Identity Safeguard solutions for privileged account management.Manage secure access controls, password vaulting, session monitoring, and privileged session recording.Integrate Safeguard with Active Directory, LDAP, and other identity management systems.Monitor PAM activities, investigate access anomalies, and generate audit reports.Maintain and update policies for privileged account use in alignment with organizational security standards.Collaborate with IT security, infrastructure, and compliance teams to strengthen access controls.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PAM systems and integrations.Participate in security assessments, audits, and incident response activities.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.3+ years of experience in Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, preferably One Identity Safeguard.Strong understanding of Active Directory, Windows/Linux administration, and network security principles.Hands-on experience with access control, identity management, and authentication systems.Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.Preferred Skills:Certification in One Identity Safeguard or equivalent PAM technologies.Experience with PowerShell or Python scripting for automation.Familiarity with enterprise ITSM and ticketing systems.
