For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.Who The Client Is: We are a specialist litigation firm dedicated to complex commercial and tax disputes, combining deep legal expertise with disciplined project management. By focusing solely on high-stakes matters, we provide sharper strategies, clearer processes, and more predictable outcomes for our clients.Role Overview: The Paralegal will provide essential support to our lawyers in managing all stages of commercial litigation matters. This includes assisting with document preparation, discovery, court filings, and case organisation to ensure deadlines and procedural requirements are met. The role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable handling large volumes of documents while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.Key Responsibilities: Prepare court books, document bundles, and exhibits for affidavits and witness statementsAssist with discovery processes, including document review, organisation, and indexingDraft and prepare court forms and other legal documents for filingManage electronic and physical files, ensuring accuracy and completenessConduct legal and factual research as requiredProvide general administrative and litigation support to the legal teamLiaise with internal team members to ensure timely delivery of case materials and submissionsRequirementsAt least 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, with exposure to commercial litigationStrong understanding of litigation processes and court proceduresExcellent document management and organizational skillsProficient in MS Office, Sharepoint and document management systemsStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and time managementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWork Arrangement & Expectations:This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client workReflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as "Independent Contractor")
