Part-qualified Accountant (Practice)

My client, based in Dublin West, is a medium-sized accountancy firm which was established in Dublin in 1989 and since then has been providing business and taxation advice to both domestic and international clients.The firm currently employs 10 people, which includes four qualified accountants.The candidate does not need to be qualified or to have audit experience. It is the relevant practice experience that is more important than the qualifications. They do not carry out audit work.Key responsibilities will include:Preparation of draft audit exempt accounts to partner review stage.Preparation and submission of Annual Returns and Abridged Accounts in the CROPreparation of Income Tax, Corporation Tax, PAYE, VAT and RCT returnsPayroll processingPreparation and submission of other company secretarial returnsThe candidate will be expected to manage his/her own list of clients and therefore should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.The following skills and experience is required:At least two years’ experience in a small to medium sized accountancy practiceProficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ROS and accounting software packages such as Relate, Surf, Sage and Zero.Statutory Accounts and file preparationStrong technical knowledge in relation to Income Tax, Corporation Tax, PAYE and RCTA good working knowledge of VAT and cross border transactionsExcellent communication skills required internally and externallyProactive, flexible with ability to work well both individually and in teamsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment to meet demanding deadlinesWhat we can offer you:Salary of €35,00-€40,000Flexible working hours with the option to work remotelyAll course and examination fees paid.Paid study leave in line with industry guidelines.Internal training and exam coaching provided by senior staff.Support and encouragement for staff who wish to study for additional qualificationsFor more information on this role or any other Accountancy roles contact Conal O'Connor on 01 5927858 or click on the apply button belowTo view all live jobs with Brightwater and market insights, please visit our website; www.brightwater.ie
