Proactively manages business and technical risks, adapts methodology and applies governance principles to identify, communicate, and minimize business and technical risks.Proactively identifies new opportunities for Consumption and Usage at scale based on business value to partners and clear understanding of the Microsoft value proposition for supported platforms to empower cloud success, foster and strengthen security and resiliency, and drive AI innovation.Actively listens to and supports partners, building trust to then advocate for alternative architectures/solutions/approaches that shape and/or enhance customer requirements. Identifies, and evaluates industry trends, gathers partner insights (e.g., feedback around technical preferences, environments, business needs, competitive landscape), and maps existing architecture and digital transformation solutions to partner business outcomes.Partner SpecializationIdentifies and prioritizes several opportunities that align with revenue goals and orchestrates growth of solution utilization pipeline with partners. Provides assistance with partner and sales teams to bring clarity to specific opportunities through proof of concept and technical pre-sales support.Proactively guides and supports partners in developing repeatable offerings, practices, products, and solutions. Advises the partner throughout initial strategic customer implementations.Technical LeadershipBuilds technical depth in solution areas and breadth across priorities (e.g., security, resilience, AI).Actively pursues upskilling and accreditations based on market demand and role models technical excellence.Influences Through Expertise: Shares insights and proven practices with partners, peers, educating on technical and non-technical concepts to foster a culture of learning and coaching.Community Engagement: Contributes to internal technical communities and cross-team collaboration, sharing ideas and strategic input to grow organisational impact.External Advocacy: Represents Microsoft’s technology vision at events, builds influencer networks, and amplifies brand through blogs, meetups, hackathons, and conferences.QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related fieldAND 4+ years in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, architecture, or consultingOR equivalent experienceProven ability to influence and engage senior technical and business leaders at partner organisations, driving alignment on architecture and strategic prioritiesStrong understanding of business drivers, industry trends, and financial considerations behind cloud adoption and AI transformationExpertise in cloud architecture, solution design, and partner enablement, ideally in large-scale or global engagementsHands-on experience with Microsoft Cloud platforms:Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365Technical depth in one or more of:AI Apps: Kubernetes, DevOps, GitHub, AI-driven application developmentCloud Infrastructure: Networking, identity, security, governance, compliancePreferred Qualifications8–12+ years in technology IP solutions or services development, with deep understanding of digital transformation business models and partner economicsExperience in executive-level presentations, business case development, and joint go-to-market planningTechnical certifications in Azure, AWS, Google CloudMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
