Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  Reporting to the Senior Partnerships Manager, the Partnerships Manager will play a critical role in the overall success of the Sponsorship/Corporate department. Key to the role is strategic and operational Partnership Management of Category Exclusive Partners (including digital assets, signage/branding, hospitality, experiences and partnership activations); along with assisting the sales team in the creation of bespoke proposals when required.  SERVICING Account management of key Commercial Partner relationships as the primary Club contact;Manage all match day activations in the Category Partner, Official Supplier, Signage, and Digital portfolio;Develop and implement leverage and servicing activations across social media, digital, and match day platforms;Analyze mid year & end of year campaign performance statistics and recommend solutions for new and existing clients;Meet or beat net profit budget contribution from the ‘Sponsorship, Digital and Match Day’ line items;Assist Senior Partnerships Manager and Head of Commercial Partnerships to develop annual Sponsorship budget and manage monthly financial reporting & forecasting;Assist Senior Partnerships Manager and Head of Commercial Partnerships on Category Partnership renewals, new business proposals and digital campaigns;Support Sponsorship Servicing & Corporate Sales Team in the development and presentation of partnership opportunities to prospective clients;Identify market prospects by keeping abreast of current business trends and global sponsorship activities, lead generation, and networking opportunities;Support Sponsorship Servicing & Corporate Sales Team in the development and presentation of partnership opportunities to prospective clients;Work closely with the Club’s Digital department on growing the digital footprint, integration, and commercialisation.  SALES Create and deliver compelling sales presentations as requiredIdentify prospects by keeping abreast of current business trends and commercial sponsorship activitiesActively seek brands to add to the Club Partnership portfolio, ensuring a consistent level of outbound activity throughout the yearManage, understand and communicate the available or undersold asset list, particularly across sponsorship and brand assetsContinually review and value the Club’s branded asset list, providing thoughts or recommendations for improvement and growthStrong presentation skills and the ability to deal with NRL and Club Stakeholders at all levelsSupport the Sales Team with presentations and business development to potential new business clients; particularly, evolving the way the team creates and presents the relevant stats and value proposition to prospects BUDGET Assist Senior Partnerships Manager and Head of Commercial Partnerships to develop annual Sponsorship budget and manage monthly financial reporting (forecasting)Provide constant feedback and assistance to Senior Partnerships Manager and Head of Commercial Partnerships to ensure commercial and sponsorship assets are selling consistent with forecast and budget Provide feedback to Senior Partnerships Manager and Head of Commercial Partnerships on which Digital Assets and Sponsorship Properties are over/under performing year on year MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE     Year on year growth of the Sponsorship/Corporate net profit contribution to the overall Commercial Budget Manage and lead a collection of partners to achieve year on year retention and growthGrowing the Sponsorship Portfolio through best practice servicing and innovation Proactively analyse, review and understand the department finances and regularly provide updates, thoughts and recommendations to generate efficiencies and growth PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS 3-5 years’ experience of account management and commercial partner servicing;Outstanding presentation skills;Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;Proven ability to work well under pressure;Proven ability to meet and exceed key performance indicators;Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders of all levels;Ability to work autonomously and as part of high performing, cross functional team;Ability to showcase value proposition of partners engaging in Rabbitohs digital;Capacity to work all Rabbitohs Home Games and Major Events;Tertiary education preferable;Knowledge of sporting industry and Rugby League is desirable.
