Our mission is to eliminate the fragmented, opaque processes that make fundraising slow and inefficient, and empower founders to get funded faster, smarter.Think “Rightmove for startup funding” — a transparent, connected platform that empowers founders and the wider ecosystem, not just another gatekeeper.We’re early in our journey, but in just 6 months we’ve had over 300 startups join our platform — check out our first reviews on Google an Trustpilot and a recent case study here.The RoleWe’re looking for a Partnerships Manager to own our commercial relationships — driving startup engagement, building investment partnerships, and deepening connections across the UK startup ecosystem.This is a hybrid role spanning sales, customer success, and business development. You’ll manage onboarding calls with founders, educate them on how ThatRound helps their fundraising, and nurture ongoing relationships. At the same time, you’ll source and manage partnerships with angel groups, syndicates, funds, and VCs — and expand our network across scouts, grant funding providers, and universities.You’ll be a key voice of ThatRound in the ecosystem — spending your days on calls, managing relationships through Pipedrive, chatting with partners on LinkedIn, and meeting people in person.What You’ll Own💬 Sales & Founder OnboardingRun demo and onboarding calls with startups, helping founders understand how ThatRound can support their raiseManage inbound leads and qualify opportunities through PipedriveBuild scalable outreach and follow-up workflows using automation tools (Zapier, Notion, ChatGPT)🤝 Investment Partner DevelopmentSource, approach, and onboard new investment partners (angel groups, syndicates, funds, VCs)Maintain ongoing relationships and keep partners active within the ThatRound platformSupport partner campaigns and co-marketing opportunities🌐 Ecosystem PartnershipsIdentify and form partnerships with ecosystem players — universities, accelerator programs, grant funding bodies, and startup support networksDevelop joint initiatives that increase founder access and visibility across the UK startup ecosystem📊 CRM & Process ManagementBe the internal Pipedrive specialist — tracking every stage of the sales and partnership pipelineReport on key conversion metrics and insightsContinuously improve CRM workflows and automations to make the process more efficient💡 Relationship-Led GrowthRepresent ThatRound at ecosystem events and investor meetupsStay up to date with trends in early-stage funding — from pre-seed to seed, across sectors like MedTech, DeepTech, ClimateTech, and moreBuild authentic relationships that position ThatRound as a trusted connector across the ecosystemYou Might Be a Fit If…You’ve worked in sales, partnerships, or customer success within a startup, SaaS, or investment ecosystemYou understand (or are keen to learn fast) the pre-seed and seed fundraising landscape in the UKYou’re comfortable managing multiple relationships at once, from founders to investorsYou’re proactive, personable, and thrive on connecting peopleYou’re fluent in Pipedrive and love building efficient sales systemsTools like Notion, ChatGPT, Zapier, and Slack are already part of your workflowYou move fast, communicate clearly, and genuinely enjoy helping startups grow
