Job Description

Brandt is currently seeking a Parts Manager for our Estevan Brandt Peterbilt location. The Parts manager is focused on increasing sales and resultant profits, while also enhancing competitiveness in the marketplace and maintaining dealer/customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for the management of parts operations, product support and personnel to maximize returns on investment through optimizing Parts Department processes.Duties & Responsibilities:Accountable for managing all aspects of parts inventory within parts systemOptimize Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfactionGrow profitable parts salesCoordinates a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperworkWorks with the Operations & Service Managers to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobsAssists in analyzing departmental operations and storage layout and revises as needed for maximum effectivenessMaintain a high performance parts team through hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and performance management in a safe environmentExercise disciplined expense controlEnsure superior external and internal parts customer service through staff scheduling to cover business hoursWork with product support and manufacturing groups to source and stock internally manufactured product partsDevelop annual parts sales business plan and budget to include support to other Brandt branchesWork with the Sales departments to maximize cross marketing opportunitiesOther duties as assignedRequired Experience:Previous leadership experience in a parts department preferredHD Journeyman Partsperson ticket considered preferredWarehouse management experience considered an assetRequired Skills:Knowledge of general parts and warehouse proceduresStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to effectively lead a team to achieve required goalsWillingness to assist other staff as appropriate and as workloads dictateStrong leadership ability and inventory management skillsAnalytical thinker with strong problem solving and organizational skillsDiscover The Brandt AdvantageWhen you work for Brandt, we work for you.
