Overall Objective of the Job:The Country Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing all Parts Department operations nationwide, ensuring strong leadership, operational consistency, and high customer service standards across all dealership locations. The role manages all aspects of parts selling, ordering, stocking, and distribution, and develops effective plans to optimize inventory levels, drive revenue growth, and maintain efficient and reliable spare-parts availability throughout the country. The Country Parts Manager ensures that all parts operations are executed in the most effective and efficient manner under general supervision.Tasks and Responsibilities: Leadership & Regional Oversight:Lead and support Parts Department Managers across all locations.Participate in setting long- and short-term departmental objectives and communicate them clearly to subordinates.Ensure alignment with company policies, procedures, and overall business objectives.Provide strong guidance and leadership, ensuring the team has the technical and professional capabilities needed to perform effectively.Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.Select, train, motivate, and develop department personnel to ensure achievement of company objectives.Operational Management:Oversee the daily operations of all parts departments, including sales counters, warehouses, logistics, and inventory movement (In/Out).Analyze departmental operations to ensure the achievement of KPIs such as fill rate, order accuracy, productivity, and service levels.Standardize processes, plans, policies, and procedures across all branches to ensure consistent, efficient, and effective operations.Supervise subordinates to ensure compliance with company-approved policies and procedures.Ensure accurate documentation of all spare parts activities and issue timely operational reports.Maintain high standards of customer service across all dealership departments.Inventory OptimizationDevelop strategies to maintain optimal and accurate inventory levels nationwide.Forecast demand, manage stock levels, and minimize slow-moving or dead stock.Conduct periodic stock audits and inventory checks to ensure compliance and accuracy.Ensure proper availability of parts within set budgets and required timelines.Maintain inventory records showing accurate stock movement and implement continuous improvements in inventory control.Sales Strategy & Revenue GrowthManage and support spare parts sales activities to ensure sales targets and profit margins are achieved.Create and implement sales strategies that increase parts revenue and profitability while maintaining the company image.Identify opportunities for growth, promotions, and seasonal campaigns, coordinating with internal departments.Ensure that discounts and sales practices follow company policies.Sell the maximum amount of parts to trade and retail customers while maintaining high customer satisfaction.Customer Service ExcellenceEnsure high standards of customer satisfaction across all locations.Build and maintain a customer-focused culture within all parts departments.Train staff on product knowledge, service processes, and customer service expectations.Monitor customer feedback, address issues promptly, and implement improvements.Supplier & Vendor RelationsMaintain direct liaison with manufacturers, suppliers, and major customers.Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and supply agreements to optimize cost and improve availability.Build and maintain strong relationships with parts vendors.Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and market conditions to support purchasing decisions.Performance ManagementConduct annual performance appraisals for all parts employees and recommend salary adjustments, rewards, promotions, or disciplinary actions when needed.Set clear performance expectations and monitor progress through regular coaching and feedback.Identify skill gaps and coordinate required training with HR.Financial ManagementDevelop, review, and manage departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with company financial goals.Ensure all cost, sales, and revenue targets are met and operate within the approved purchasing budget.Analyze financial performance and prepare periodic reports for management.Discuss significant budget variations and implement corrective actions as needed.Compliance & StandardsEnsure spare parts operations comply with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.Maintain high standards of safety, quality, documentation accuracy, and ethical conduct.Ensure all transactions are correctly recorded and communicated to relevant departments when needed.Monitor customer credit facilities and ensure due payment.Additional ResponsibilitiesApprove ordering and re-ordering of spare parts.Ensure timely posting of payables to manufacturers and vendors, and receivables from parts customers through coordination with the Finance Department.Maintain satisfactory parts service to all dealership departments.Perform any related tasks as requested by the direct supervisor.Job Requirements:Educational Level/ Required Certificates: B.S degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any related field. Experience: 7–10 years’ experience in automotive parts or after-sales operations, with at least 3+ years in a managerial or regional role.
