Job Title: Parts SupervisorLocation: Basra Abi Al KhaseebWorking hours: Night shift (4:00 pm - 12:00 am)About the Job:The Parts Supervisor is responsible for the sales and storage of parts at SAS. The Parts Supervisor supervises spare part employees in his/her assigned branch and ensures offering good service and assistance to walk in customers.Main duties & responsibilities:Manages the implementation of the spare parts function plans, and ensures their compliance with rules and policies.Develops the spare parts function work plan, assigns work activities, projects and programs, monitors workflow, reviews and evaluates work methods and procedures, and directs such activities to serve the Function goals and plans.Proposes plans and programs that boost the effectiveness of the spare parts function.Ensures that work activities are carried out achieving the pre-set performance goals, and suggests any necessary actions to the direct supervisor.Oversees the consolidation and budgeting of all departmental manpower plans, and ensures its alignment with the organizational strategic objectivesParticipates in setting the section’s long and short term objectives, communicates them to the subordinates, and ensures high quality achievements of the goals in a cost effective and timely manner.Takes part in setting plans, policies, and procedures that ensures a standardized, efficient and effective flow of operations.Supervises the activities of subordinates to ensure their effectiveness and compliance with the SAS approved policies and procedures.Selects, trains, motivates, evaluates and develops the section’s personnel to ensure the achievement of SAS objectives.Analyzes the section’s operations, ensures the existence and achievement of key performance indicators for the section and cascades them to subordinates.Ensures the excellent condition of the branch and inventories as well as their regular maintenance, cleanliness, proper storing and organization to allow easy access and control of stock.Ensures the compliance of spare parts team operations with overall performance standard, policies and procedures.Ensures providing outstanding customer service through professional greeting, friendly approach and offering all the help possible for customers and potential customers, discusses inquiries and describes suitable solutions for them as well as increasing Spare Parts sales by cross selling SAS Spare Parts to customers.Ensures that stock levels are kept at a sufficient level and that spare parts are available when required at the branch level.Performs customer satisfaction surveys to identify weaknesses, strengths, opportunities and challenges to ensure the high customer satisfaction and to increase Spare Parts saleEnsures that Spare Parts team maintain updated and good knowledge of SAS products services, prices, promotions and any other details to be informed to customersPrepares periodic reports with respect to the function's activities and achievements to the direct supervisor.Specifies manpower requirements for the department according to the recruitment and selection and manpower planning practicesRecommends training needs of subordinates’ and evaluating the outcomes of training courses in coordination with the concerned human resources personnel.Conducts performance appraisals for subordinates’ according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices.Conducts periodic meetings with subordinates to follow up on the smooth running of activities and keeping abreast with latest business-related practices.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or any related fieldMinimum 7 years of related experienceMinimum 2 years of experience in a managerial position.English language skills are required.Adaptability to ChangeTeamworkEffective CommunicationComputer SkillsFunctional KnowledgeResult OrientationProfessional Passion and Drive
