The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of baking techniques, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for crafting beautiful and delicious pastries. As a key member of our culinary staff, you'll be preparing delicious, high-quality pastries, contributing to menu development, and ensuring food is presented at its best.What you'll do:Develop and prepare a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goodsEnsure consistency and quality of all pastry itemsManage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost controlKeep good communication with the immediate manager and the rest of the team.Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.This is a permanent position for 100% with a start date to be agreed upon. The position requires working varied shifts, including evenings and weekendsYou’ll shine here if you are:Experienced from culinary education, formal training or bakery experience.Able to ensure the quality of every dish served, consistently adhering to presentation standards.Flexible and reliable, with a passion for creating great pastries and experiences. Comfortable multi-tasking and making decisions independently.Bonus points for: Detailed track record of previous achievements within the culinary art of pastries.Turning challenges into opportunities, managing multiple tasks, and keeping high standards, even when things get tough.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.Seeking a candidate with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members, while ensuring the effective delivery of projects and tasks.We value the power of diversity within Strawberry.
