DescriptionLocation: Main CampusDepartment: OUTPATIENT NURSINGSchedule: Full Time, 8 HR Day Shift, 0530-1400Position SummaryThe PCC has 24 hour accountability for unit function; provides leadership, supports team efforts and promotes cost effective, quality patient care via participation and supervision of personnel and through coordination of unit activities. Possesses strong clinical and leadership skills. Possesses knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to age of patients served. Projects professionalism via actions and attire.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesEducation/Certification ⚬ Current nursing licensure in Georgia ⚬ BSN preferred ⚬ CPR required.Ability to understand and adhere to job responsibilities/limitationsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questionsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusionsAbility to deal with multiple issues involving abstract and concrete variablesAbility to read, analyze and interpret pertinent dataAbility to understand and follow policy and proceduresAbility to interact diplomatically with patients, families and health care team membersWORKING CONDITIONS - ADA INFORMATIONThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
